My instructional design process begins with an initial client meeting to discuss the training's objectives and target learners. Through a series of focused questions, I extract key details about the problem and gain a comprehensive understanding of the learner profile. Continuous client communication is maintained throughout the process. I then create a concise design document summarizing our shared understanding, outlining the problem, proposed solution, and deliverables. Upon agreement on the course's fundamental aspects, I proceed to develop a detailed storyboard, including mock-ups of template slides for the client's visualization. The storyboard encompasses all text, interactions, and assessment questions. After client approval, I move on to eLearning development, incorporating at least two review cycles before delivering the final module for implementation. A post-implementation debrief with the client is standard, providing an opportunity for reflection on the project and my own continuous improvement.
